I Bet You Didn't Know Video Agencies Did This!
The marketing world is a confusing one. We've been doing our best to discuss such topics lately, and we hope you've enjoyed the reading thus far. But today, we're discussing (or maybe rambling) about the things people don't know about a video agency.
It's rare for most marketers to get outside their comfort zone. When a digital marketer does their thing they tend to stay in their lane, and don't explore much outside their scope. This was my prescription for life prior to meeting Off The Vine, which has given me some insight into aspects of the business that weren't apparent before.
They Use Drones
I also wasn't aware of the prevalence of drones. They can be used for anything.
However, the last thing on my mind was using them for marketing. Now my world has exploded. I'm aware now, that even realtors are using drones to showcase properties.
This makes for a very interesting time to be part of a marketing agency.
Commercial videos have proven to be a powerful marketing tool. They’re entertaining, engaging, and effective. Now, it’s easier and more cost effective than ever to create videos for your business. But with all of the different types of videos out there, which ones are best for your business? Keep reading to learn more about different types of commercial videos and how they can boost your business!
When looking at residential or commercial real estate, it can be difficult to get an accurate picture of a property from a few pictures online. Drone videography allows real estate agents and sellers to present a property in an entirely new way. Aerial shots can give potential buyers a better picture of large plots of land or the layout of a property.
Outdoor Events
If you have an outdoor attraction, such as an amusement park or nature park, there’s probably a lot to see! Drone video can give you the eye-in-the-sky shots you need to really show off what your attraction has to offer. A drone can fly above the trees or to the tops of rides, giving viewers a unique perspective.
Special Attractions
Are you looking for a unique way to promote your fair or festival? Drone videography may be the solution. Drones can cover a wide area in a short amount of time. If you have a reoccurring event, you can reuse footage for future promotions. You can even use drone videography to live stream events!
Farm Land
Farmers have been quick to adapt to the growing capabilities of drone videography. It has proved particularly useful in surveying the land, checking on the growth of otherwise inaccessible crops, and monitoring for disease. This doesn’t only save farmers time and money, it helps them be more efficient in their growing.
They Make Music Videos
This is becoming more and more of a lost art. But it doesn't have to be that way. What better way to showcase your companies skills then with a music video. Music videos certainly have their place in the modern day market when vying for client business.
No, it's not like you're trying to impress DMX with your editing skills, but music videos are perfect way to show that you know your way around a mixing console. Not only that, it's the ability to showcase sounds, clean cuts from scene to scene, and execute a story all at once.
They Do Radio Ads
Reading copy, editing into a proper story, and mixing down audio are all skills that translate into the proliferation of a great radio ad.
Though many people have moved to internet radio (sorry, satellite radio), there's still a vast variety of demographics that like to listen to traditional broadcast radio. For instance, Boise public radio entertains the local populous with a wide variety of music. There's still those who like to tune in and the people at Off The Vine work to make sure they're able to tap into that world and make a statement.
Radio isn't dead.
Podcasts and their ilk are dredging up from the cemetery of radio and helping people recall the nostalgic past of sitting around the radio and learning and laughing.
Now that people have begun to accept podcasts into their daily life, radio ads are more important than ever.
Whatever your business does, we hope you'll do it well. I've certainly learned my fair share about the world of marketing agencies, and I'm happy to continue to learn and share that knowledge here.
