Video Marketing In Boise

Are you looking to make a VLOG? Or simply interested in getting an ad ready for TV? Then you're in the right spot.

Today, there's never been a better time to have access to marketing tools.

From software, to drones, to social media, the world of video marketing is more accessible than ever before. While digital marketing and video marketing are powerful tools, they can hinder business from thriving just as quickly as they can help. Google is more apt to detect poorly written content, and the average YouTube user has less and less attention span every day.

So how does a video marketer in Boise, Idaho, and in this day and age, cut through the noise and reach an audience effectively. We've had our own successes that we'd like to share, so let's start with creative storytelling!

We all know that businesses need to thrive and make money in the process. However, that shouldn't be the center point of your video ad. In fact, that just makes the brand look like they don't care, with nothing of value to say.

Video creation needs to be based on teaching something interesting/telling a story, or appealing to the viewers emotions. It's as simple as that. I bet you didn't realize that video marketing agencies were so focused on tapping into the human spirit

This is similar to how we are unlikely to click on an email if we’re not finding the subject line worthwhile.

Since we live in a world with short attention spans anyway, and an incredible one fifth of viewers click off a video within 10 seconds if they’re not interested in what they see, we need to create some content that is eye-catching and interesting. With that in mind, we should be creating video that is properly shot and edited too. It's got to go from point A to point B, but if the journey isn't interesting and doesn't look good, then the whole thing might as well be a failed attempt to cash-in.

Since the majority of viewers will click away or change the channel quickly, you've got to hook them with a question, or show them something that makes them question.

After all, the human race has always been a curious bunch!

Will the viewer watch it because it will make them laugh, because it will inspire them to act or because it will teach them something new?

If the answer is yes, then let us proceed. Once, you've got them interested, the rest is easy.

If the answer was no, then consider this:

Consider taking a creative risk. Instead of the typical storyline, try something that's unique. It's more likely to pay off. As we all see plenty of ads every single day, the ones that stick out tend to be the non-linear or the outside the box creative ones.

Did you know that 65% of people are visual learners?

While that doesn't exactly provide an excuse for my poor math grades, it does make sense why some many of us turn to youtube when we want to learn something new.

So the solution is simple. It's time to educate your audience. And the great thing is that education comes in many forms.

For example, you can teach your customers how to use your product or service and provide useful tips on how to make the most of it. You can also create various circumstances to describe how the product is applicable. If you want your video marketing campaign to be successful, create exciting and inspiring videos that can never be considered boring.

Thus, videos can also provide social proof for your product or service.

As we've discussed previously, it's important to let the community know that your business has a pulse. Discuss local events, or promote local happenings, but use a fun dialogue to do so.

So today we learned that video marketing can engage the viewer by applying a few simple principles:

  1. Inform (events, ways to participate)

  2. Entertain (can be humorous even)

  3. Teach (go beyond the product)

  4. Use the first ten seconds effectively (Tell a story in a unique way)

These are exciting times, and it's likely that the video marketing world will only grow and change. So why not be on the cutting edge?

We like to think that a good video will do wonders for a brand, and we hope you'll find our own video portfolio to be an engaging and education one. Good luck out there!
